What We're All About

Okay... so... we've got a blog. "What now?" I hear you ask.

This is how it's going to work. Every week each of us posts a chapter as a blog entry. Excerpts, chapters, shorts, complete stories, anything up to ten pages or appx. 2500 words - if you go a little bit over, that's fine, just don't post your whole MS in one entry!

Then during the week, our circle members will post their responses using the comment system. I'm sure we've all had experience with critiquing, though if it's been a while, try out this web page:

Lord knows it helps me (yeah, all of you know my critiquing is awful). Ahem. Yes, well.

A note on formatting. You can post here directly from Google Docs, and you can publish your scripts using GD as well. When you upload your drafts to GD, please pay attention to the formatting. If indents aren't allowed, then make sure you have white space between the graphs. And of course, scripts are always always ALWAYS double spaced. When you post, simply put your introduction in the blog post, then link to the published document. In your intro simply state what the piece is, what you're hoping to accomplish with it, specific areas that you would like advice on, and anything else that strikes your fancy.

That should be it. Feel free to ask any questions, and hopefully, we'll get started once everyone has joined.
